Welcome to the Serving Everett Network

In the Fall of 2007 a group of pastors in the South Everett area began to meet recognizing that we had something important in common. We believed that the church of Jesus Christ would be a more effective resource to our community if our local churches united behind a common purpose. Our discussions focused on the importance of serving Everett in two ways: Starting churches and responding to basic human needs. Our network churches serving South Everett in the name of Jesus is underway and we identify ourselves as ONE CHURCH WITH MANY OUTPOSTS. Our denominations are different, ministry philosophies unique, and our diverse personalities equal the number of churches represented.

The common ground on which we find ourselves:

Our belief in the Bible as God's sole authority for faith and practice.

Our belief in Jesus Christ, the true son of God, and only source of salvation.

Our churches' South Everett location.

Our commitment to start churches.

Our activity in responding to needs.

Once a month we meet together for encouragement, prayer, and to discuss new ways we can serve Everett. This time provides much need accountability and resourcing that multiplies our ministry efforts in the community. One notable thing missing in this group of pastors is the desire to "showboat" their church and promote their church above the other churches.
